I have officially retired Die Hard as my favorite Christmas movie. (Buy me pizza and beer and we can argue that later). Violent Night is it. THE Christmas movie. We were down with covid and couldn't get to the theatre, but I saw Amazon Prime has it for rent. Worth it!. It is NOT a family or kid movie. It has violence, foul language, gore and surprisingly, heart and christmas magic. Plus, I laughed my ass off while cringing at the same time. Mary even loved it. I have never heard a more perfect 'ho ho ho' laugh from a Santa. Plus, it proved that a well sucked on candy cane is a perfect stabby weapon. This movie is my new Christmas tradition!
